A lifetime in the making
Dennis's career in construction started at age 10, working in his family's fabrication shop. From there, he spent decades in commercial and industrial sales and and project management, learning the industry from the ground up, building relationships, and understanding what it takes to deliver a project the right way.
Concrete got in his blood early. He worked in the concrete industry in the early 2000s and never lost the pull. There's something about it: the logistics, the precision, the risk, the 2 AM alarm for a 4 AM pour. It's not for everyone. But for Dennis, it always felt right.
In September 2022, he made the leap. He walked away from a steady career, delivered his last contracted job, deposited the check, and had no idea where the next one was coming from. His goal was simple: have concrete on the ground before the end of the month.
By the end of September, he had two pours behind him - a garage and a front patio. They were small. But they were concrete on the ground. That was the start.
Where the name comes from
People ask about it all the time. It sticks because ‘Park Lane’ doesn’t sound like a concrete company.
In 2011, Dennis's father found a 1964 Mercury Park Lane completely disassembled. It was the same color as the Mercury he'd learned to drive in years before. He fell in love with it and restored it back to factory condition, the only change being a white roof instead of the original color.
When it came time to name the company, Dennis didn't want the typical "something-something concrete" name. He was on the phone with his brother Will, tossing around ideas, and Will said it: "What about Park Lane?"
It clicked. A way to honor his dad through the work he was building. Dennis still has the car. It shows up at community events, Christmas parades, and the occasional job site. It's part of the brand and part of the family.

Dennis started this company to provide for his family, for his team, and for his community. That motivation shapes every decision, every bid, and every project. There are no shortcuts. There's no cutting corners. When Park Lane is on your job site, the work gets done right.

Dennis Holt
Dennis has spent his entire career in commercial and industrial construction. He started in his family’s fabrication shop and then spent decades in sales and project management before founding Park Lane Concrete in 2022. He handles all estimating and contract negotiations, and is your first point of contact when you reach out.
Matt Moon
Matt brings over 30 years of hands-on concrete experience to every project. He handles the management of the jobs and will act as your contact for all operations.

Rooted in Knoxville
Dennis was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, where Park Lane Concrete calls home. He and his wife Jenn are active in their local church and deeply invested in their community. When he's not on a job site or behind his desk, you’ll often catch him hanging out with his kids, chatting with friends, or cruising through town in a certain Mercury Park Lane.
